The Gurukula Kala Nidhi is the foremost award instituted by Delhi Shri R. Sridhar, Managing Trustee of Gurukulam Foundation, in loving memory of his revered Guru, the late Smt. Akhila Krishnan.
This prestigious honor is conferred upon stalwarts of Carnatic music for their outstanding contributions to the art form, celebrating excellence, devotion, and the enduring values of the guru-shishya tradition.
